Indian Air Force invites applications from unmarried male
Indian citizens (citizens of Nepal
are also eligible) for selection test in February 2011 to join as Airmen in
Group ‘X’ (Technical) trades.
EDUCATION QUALIFICATION
(a) Candidate should have passed Intermediate / 10+2 with
pass marks in Mathematics and Physics with a minimum of 50% marks in overall
aggregate.
OR
(b) Should have passed a 3 years Diploma Course in
Engineering (Mechnaical/ Electrical/Electronics/Automobile/Computer
Science/Instrumentation Technology/Information Technology) with at least 50%
marks from a Government recognised Polytechnic Institute.
AGE LIMIT : Born
between 01 APRIL 1990 to 31 MAY 1994
Pay & Allowances : During training, a stipend of Rs.
5,700/-pm will be paid. On completion of training the starting gross emoluments
at the minimum of scale of pay will be Rs. 15,062/-pm (approximately) which, in
subsequent years, may rise up to Rs 27,368/- pm (approximately) depending upon
the rank attained. In addition, perks such as Ration, Clothing, Medical
Facilities, Accommodation, Leave Travel Concession (LTC) etc. are also provided
as per the existing rules
