of Project Manager (Technical -IT) & Consultants
Government of India, Ministry
of Human Resource Development has set up National Mission on Education through
Information and Communication Technology (NMEICT) to provide, inter-alia, high
quality personalized & interactive knowledge modules over the
internet/intranet for all learners in higher education. Applications are
invited for following positions:

B.E./ B. Tech (Electronics/IT/Computer Science) / MCA
Desirable Qualifications - M. Tech / MBA
Experience: 15 years, out of which 5
years in the field of IT
and Computer Science, handling various projects of similar
nature and /
or experience in
service providing
company/Govt. Department offering broadband or satellite
connectivity
Teaching
experience in a
reputed Institution /College/University will be an asset.

One Junior Consultant
(Technical)
Age: 35 Years
Pay package will be
fixed between
Rs.25,000 to
Rs.40,000/- p.m.
|
Essential Qualifications:
M. Sc.(Computer Science/IT)/MCA
Experience:5 Years in reviewing of
projects preferably in
the field of ICT.

3. Four Sr.
Consultants from any of the following discipline(s):
|
|
Engineering
|
Essential Qualifications:
(1) B.E./B.Tech or M.E./M. Tech preferably in areas relating to IT / Electronics/Computer Sciences or
other circuit related branches/disciplines.
(2) Ph.D. in Engineering Disciplines(s) or equivalent research experience.
Experience: 20 years
with at least
15 years in
teaching in University/Deemed
University/Post Graduate College or research at senior position in
national/international level research organization.
Age: Preferably upto 55 years and persons
with age beyond 55 years or retired persons can also be considered, if
otherwise found suitable

Social Sciences
|
Essential Qualifications:
(1) M.A. in areas relating to Social Sciences like Political Science,
History, Economics, Psychology, Sociology etc..
(2) Ph.D. in relevant area or equivalent research experience Experience
& Age: As above

|
Biological Sciences
|
Essential Qualifications:
(1) M.Sc.
in
areas like Biology/Zoology/Botany/Micro Biology/Bio-Physics/Bio-Chemistry etc.
(2) Ph.D. in relevant area or equivalent research experience. Experience
& Age: As above

|
Science
|
Essential Qualifications:
(1) M.Sc. in areas like Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics etc.
(2) Ph.D. in relevant area or equivalent research experience. Experience
& Age: As above

• Candidates should have knowledge of
Information and Communication Technology.
• Appointment on contract basis initially
for one year. Deputation on usual terms & conditions through proper channel
will also be considered.
• In case of contract, pay package is
negotiable. Expectation is that applicant should be of Associate Professor or
higher level. Pay package will be commensurate with that.
• Pay package will be on lump-sum basis
& no separate allowances or benefits will be paid in cases of contract.
• Retired Professors up to 69 years of
age may also be considered.
• Candidates selected for appointment on
contract basis will have to sign a contract with EdCIL.
Merely fulfilling eligibility criteria will not confer any right
upon the candidate to be called for interview.
