Central Pulp & Paper Research Institute Sharanpur (An Autonomous R & D Institution under Govt. of India, Ministry of Commerce & Industry) Requires Post no. 1: Technical Officer-C (General) Number of post: 1 (One) Scale of pay: Rs. 10,000-325-15,200 Essential Qualification: 1st Class Diploma in Engg./Tech of 3 years full time duration or its equivalent in Electrical Engineering from Govt. recognized Institute/College. OR B.E./B.Tech. or equivalent with minimum 60% marks from a recognized Institute/College/University in Electrical Engineering. Experience: In case of B.E./B.Tech. Minimum 6 years experience in Pulp & Paper or any other research Institute/Industry in the scale of Rs. 8000-13500 or equivalent. In case of Diploma minimum 15 years experience in Pulp & Paper Industry in the field of power generation. distribution and mill process. Age limit: 40 years. Post No. 2 : Scientist B (Physically Handicapped (Hearing Handicapped) Number of post : 1 (One) Scale of pay : Rs. 8,000-275-13,500 Essential Qualification : M.Sc. or B.E. or recognized equivalent qualification in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering/Pulp & paper Engineering with minimum 60% marks. OR M.Tech. or M.E. or Ph.D. with minimum 60% marks from a recognized Institute/College/University in Chemical Engineering/Pulp & paper Engineering. Experience : In case of M.Sc./B.E. two years R & D experience in Pulp & paper discipline is required. Preference will be given to candidates having experience in the area of Pulping & Bleaching of raw materials and the modern analytical techniques. In case of M.Tech./M.E./Ph.D no experience is required. Age limit : 30 years General Conditions : 1. The prescribed qualification should have been obtained from recognized University/Institutions. 2. The post carries usual allowances i.e. D.A., H.R.A., Transport allowance as per Central Government rules and benefits like Contributory Provident Fund, Group Saving Linked Insurance, Medical as per Institute rules. 3. The retirement age is 60 years. 4. The date for determining the upper age limit qualifications, and/or experience shall be the closing date of receipt of applications. 5. The period of experience in a discipline/area of work, wherever prescribed shall be counted with effect from the date of acquiring the prescribed minimum educational qualifications for the post. 6. Age limit s relaxable as per Govt. rules for SC/ST/OBC candidates. Upper age limit for persons with Disabilities shall be relaxable by 5 years (10 years for SC. STS and 8 years for OBCs) for Group 'A' & 'B' persons suffering from not less than 40% of the relevant disabilities shall alone be eligible for benefit for the reservation. 7. Relaxation in age limit, qualification and/or experience in case of exceptionally meritorious candidates (both departmental and outsiders) would be allowed with the prior approval of the Council of association, CPPRI. 8. In case of persons employed in Govt./State Govt./Autonomous organizations the application should be routed through proper channel along with following particulars:-(i) Name of the present and past employer indicating designation (with details of nature of duties performed/experience, pay-scale and basic pay last drawn along with allowances drawn in each employment). The concerned Department/Organization should enclose vigilance clearance report and photocopies or complete ACR Dossier while forwarding the application of the candidate. However, the candidates can submit an advance copy. Application received incomplete in any respect shall be rejected. 10. Application duly completed in all respect should be submitted to Director, Central Pulp and paper Research Institute, Post Box No. 174, Saharanpur- 247001 (U.P.) within 30 days of publication of the advertisement together with Demand Draft of Rs. 100/- non-refundable with the validity of six months drawn in favour of Central Pulp and Paper Research Institute, payable at Saharanpur. (No demand draft is required from SC/ST, Physically, Handicapped candidates and from departmental candidates, if any) . 11. Canvassing in any form and/or bringing by influence political or otherwise will be treated as a disqualification for the post. 12. All application received will be considered by a screening committee for short listing and the screening committee any restrict the number of candidates for interview on the basis of qualification and experience. Mere fulfillment of the minimum prescribed qualification and experience will not vest any right on a candidate for being called for Interview. 13.
